Half-Light

2025–present

Created for my solo exhibition at Courthouse Gallery Fine Art, the works in Half-Light focus equally on what’s obscured as on what’s revealed. I’m interested in the strange beauty that unfolds before total darkness sets in — when the familiar dissolves into the uncanny.

ten miles out

2020–24

The compositions in Ten Miles Out were inspired by Monhegan Island — a small island approximately ten miles off the coast of Maine. It was not my ambition to represent the island in exacting detail or accuracy. Rather, I aimed to build introspection through the use of color, texture, and light.

moonscapes

2016–19

Created for my solo exhibition at Courthouse Gallery Fine Art, the works in Half-Light focus equally on what’s obscured as on what’s revealed. I’m interested in the strange beauty that unfolds before total darkness sets in — when the familiar dissolves into the uncanny.

gullkistan

2014–15

A collection of photomontages created during my one-month artist residency at Gullkistan Center for Creativity in Laugarvatn, Iceland (September 2014). Each piece was inspired by the darkly beautiful scenery of Iceland during autumn.

soft fictions

2013–14

My first foray into the medium of photomontage, Soft Fictions comprises a series of fictional landscapes that I created for my senior thesis exhibition at Pratt Institute. Fixated on the concept of “utopia,” I strove to realize picturesque worlds that only existed in my imagination.
